Affiliate Program Terms

1. Introduction

Welcome to the Afripace Affiliate Program (“Program”). By joining, you (“Affiliate”) agree to comply with this Agreement. Afripace (“we,” “us,” or “our”) may update these terms at any time. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of changes.

 

2. Definitions

  • Affiliate Code: Unique identifier assigned to you for referral tracking.

  • Special Links: URLs containing your Affiliate Code to track commissions.

  • Qualifying Sale: A legitimate purchase made via Special Links, not refunded within 7 days.

  • Commission: Earnings paid to you for each Qualifying Sale.

  • Affilate Portal: The online portal where affiliates can track performance, earnings, and withdrawals.

 

3. Eligibility & Account Terms

  • Minimum Age: You must be at least 18 years old.

  • Accuracy: Provide accurate legal name, email, and account details.

  • Security: Maintain strong passwords; 2FA is strongly recommended.

  • Restrictions: No bots, multiple accounts, shared logins, or impersonation.

 

4. Promotional Guidelines

A. Approved Methods

  • Use official banners, links, and promotional materials from Afripace.

  • Promote through blogs, social media, email lists, YouTube, and offline methods like flyers or posters.

 

B. Prohibited Methods

  • Misrepresentation: Do not claim to be an “official partner” unless authorized.

  • Spam: No unsolicited messaging via email, SMS, or social media.

  • Unauthorized Coupons: You may not promote Afripace discount codes not assigned to you.

  • PPC Restrictions: No bidding on Afripace-branded keywords without written approval.

 

C. Ethical Conduct & Disclosure

  • Clearly disclose your affiliate relationship in line with the FTC and local laws (e.g., Ghana’s Data Protection Act, NITDA in Nigeria).

  • Respect privacy laws, intellectual property rights, and anti-fraud policies.

  • Avoid offensive, hateful, or misleading content in promotions.

 

5. Commission & Payment

A. Commission Structure

  • Earn 40% commission on each Qualifying Sale (excluding refunded or canceled orders).

  • A minimum withdrawal threshold of 10 GHS applies; earnings below this will roll over to the next month.

 

B. Payment Process

  • Methods: Mobile money (MTN, Airtel), bank transfer, or Paystack.

  • Schedule: Automatically paid to each affilairteaffiliate on montly basis if the minimum withdrawal threshold is met.

 

C. Fraud Prevention

We reserve the right to withhold or revoke commissions for:

    • Self-referrals or fraudulent purchases.

    • Use of bots or click farms.

    • Chargebacks or refund rates exceeding 5% of sales.

    • Violation of program guidelines.

 

6. Tracking & Reporting

  • You must use your Special Links for accurate tracking.

  • Afripace uses cookies and custom URL tracking to attribute referrals.

  • We are not liable for tracking failures caused by third-party ad blockers, cookie deletion, or other technical limitations.

  • A personal dashboard is provided to view clicks, signups, sales, and commissions in real-time.

 

7. Affiliate Dashboard

  • Access real-time reports of clicks, sales, and earnings.

  • Update your payment details, profile, and view performance metrics.

  • Any suspicious activity may result in suspension for further review.

 

8. Intellectual Property

  • You are granted a non-exclusive, revocable license to use Afripace branding as provided.

  • Modifications to creative assets must be approved.

  • We may update artwork with 14 days’ notice.

 

9. Legal Compliance

  • Disclosure: Clearly disclose affiliate links in accordance with FTC guidelines and similar regulations.

  • Data Laws: You must comply with applicable laws including:

    • Ghana’s Data Protection Act

    • Nigeria’s NITDA rules

    • Kenya’s Data Protection Act

    • GDPR (for EU users)

    • CAN-SPAM (for email promotions)

    • Any local laws applicable to your country of residence or audience.

 

10. Customer Relationship

  • Customers who buy through your Special Links become Afripace’s customers.

  • Afripace handles customer support, billing, refunds, and policy enforcement.

 

11. Termination & Inactivity

A. Termination Grounds

Afripace reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account:

  • At any time with or without cause.

  • For violating program rules

  • For fraudulent or misleading behavior

  • For inactivity exceeding 12 months.

 

B. Upon Termination

  • All access to the affiliate dashboard will be revoked.

  • You must remove all Afripace promotional content from your platforms.

  • Commissions under 10 GHS will be forfeited unless otherwise agreed.

 

12. Limitation of Liability

  • Afripace is not liable for:

    • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

    • We do not guarantee uninterrupted tracking, conversions, or uptime

    • Commission disputes arising from third-party tools or misconfigurations

    • All services are provided “as-is” without warranties or guarantees

 

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Afripace harmless from claims, damages, and liabilities resulting from:

  • Your breach of this Agreement

  • Misconduct, negligence, or illegal promotional tactics

 

14. Dispute Resolution

  • Initial Contact: Email support@afripace.pro to resolve any issues.

  • Arbitration: Unresolved matters will be settled through confidential arbitration under the Ghana Arbitration Act in Accra, Ghana.

 

15. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any legal action shall be brought in Accra, Ghana.

 

16. Amendments

We may amend these terms at any time. Affiliates will be notified via email or dashboard. Continued use of the Program constitutes acceptance.
